FNaF Lost Mind Controls

Movement, camera, and light habits that keep badge hunts from turning into a spin.

Controls

Lost Mind uses standard Roblox movement, then asks you to survive dark attractions that were ported from heavier engines. The pain point is not a hidden keybind. It is camera fight, flashlight timing, and mobile thumbs in a hallway that was designed for a mouse. This page is the how-to-move guide that getting started points to.

If you came here because a hunt felt unfair, finish the binds below, then retry Forgotten Soul before you blame the map.

Keyboard and mouse

ActionDefault
MoveWASD
JumpSpace
CameraMouse
Sprint / shift-lockLeft Shift, depending on your Roblox settings
Interact / touch collectibleWalk into the object or click when a prompt appears
MenuEsc, then the in-experience buttons

Roblox lets you remap some of this in Settings. Do that before a long hunt such as Welcome To My World. Lost Mind will not override your global binds.

Shift-lock helps when you need to back out of a tight prop without losing facing. It also makes screenshots easier if you are only in the map to pose a badge morph.

Mobile

Touch controls are the usual dynamic joystick plus jump. Two habits matter more than the layout:

  1. Lower camera sensitivity so a single swipe does not spin you past a glowing collectible.
  2. Keep the flashlight control reachable. Fazbear Fright V2 and other Alternative Series maps are dark on purpose.

If the joystick eats half the screen, enable the smaller thumbstick in Roblox settings. You cannot complete ERROR or lowbear5 comfortably if every turn is a flinch.

Console

Xbox players get the standard Roblox gamepad map. Text entry is the weak point, which is why how to redeem recommends a keyboard if a code box ever appears. For hunts, invert-Y is a personal choice; pick it in the lobby, not in a black corridor.

VR

There is a real badge named Played in VR! It awards when you join with a headset. That is a platform check, not a hunt. If you only want morphs, stay on a flat screen. VR comfort varies wildly in ported maps with tight collision. The all-badges list marks this one as legacy/platform so you do not waste a session looking for a VR collectible that does not exist.

Flashlight and darkness

Several hunts are visibility puzzles. Forgotten Soul is the teaching case: enter Fazbear Fright V2, light the hall, stay on the main path, touch the glow. If your light toggles off when you open a menu, turn it back on before you walk. Do not sprint blind. The map is not trying to hide a 20-step parkour; it is trying to hide a prop in the dark.

If a creator video looks brighter than your client, they may have raised graphics. On low settings, increase brightness only as far as you can without washing out the collectible glow. The maps page notes which ports are showcase-bright (Security Breach) and which are hunt-dark.

Performance habits that feel like controls

A 10-player server full of heavy morphs can hitch. Hitching feels like input loss. Reduce graphics, avoid stacking particles in the hub, and hop servers if someone is testing every Badge Characters skin at once. This is still online roleplay, not a single-player build.

Close overlay apps that hook the client. Anything that promises ESP for Lost Mind belongs on the scripts safety page, not in your bind list.

Practice route

  1. Spawn in the hub and walk a full circle without touching a map portal. Confirm jump and camera.
  2. Enter a bright official port such as Security Breach and walk a long corridor.
  3. Leave, enter Fazbear Fright V2, and practice flashlight on/off while strafing.
  4. Complete Forgotten Soul if you have not already.
  5. Tick the badge in the tracker and stop. Controls are learned when the next hunt feels boring, not when you memorize a table.

When the developer adds a new dark map, come back here only if the input model changes. Most updates add a collectible, not a new bind. Those updates live under recent badges.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for badge hunts, codes, and morph unlocks.

What are the default FNaF Lost Mind controls?

Standard Roblox WASD, mouse look, and Space to jump. Mobile uses a joystick. The important extra is the flashlight on dark Alternative Series maps.

Why does the camera feel awful on mobile?

Lower sensitivity and shrink the thumbstick. Dark hunts punish wide swipes more than bright Security Breach halls.

Do I need VR to finish the game?

No. The VR badge is a join check. Morph hunts are built for flat clients.
